This is a night view of the Edgar Thomson Steel Works, in Braddock, PA, which has been in continuous operation since 1875. The first steel ever produced in Pittsburgh was milled here, and Thomson mill workers began the modern labor movement with the Homestead strike of 1892. Over 100 years later, it is still an amazing site to behold.
My wonderful neighborhood bakery, as seen a few hours before they opened for the day. The passing car tail lights are visible in this long exposure.
Point State Park, as seen from Mount Washington, Pittsburgh, PA.
